I took the plunge: I submitted 3 paintings to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation ‘Wildlife artist of the year 2021‘. I ran into them 7 days before closing time. So I made 2 new paintings in 1 week that I thought were worth submitting. I made a 3rd painting last year. In addition to “Hunting prey”, I submitted “Facing the future” and “Engaging the future”. A professional jury assessed the submitted items. Unfortunately I did not make it to the short list… Canvas 120 × 100 cm.
